About

AGTBE has been set up in 1995 as a professional association in Egypt

AGTBE is a professional association for the Egyptian Chevening Scholars to promote links between the scholars, trainees and alumni of the British universities in Egypt. The association aims at engaging its members in social, educational, cultural and professional activities that capitalize on the caliber and knowledge of the members, with the purpose of contributing to the social and economic development of Egypt.

    Increasing the fund available to the association to cover its development costs.

    Ensuring the vested interest of UK graduates, trainees and other stakeholders to participate in achieving AGTBE’s goals while ensuring the transfer of knowledge given that most of us are experts in their respective fields

    Increase members’ awareness towards development.

    Provide an HR database of CV’s to the government to be used for hiring high performers candidates.
